2XKO was a dream that came true but was taken away too early
Riot should have given this game at least one more year

2XKO was a game that I was so excited for when Riot Games announced it back in 2019 during their 10 year anniversary for League of Legends. Being a fan of playing League for a few years and a fan of fighting games, this was a dream come true. I was so excited to see my favorite champions duke it out against each other fighting game style instead of MOBA style. Unfortunately they have announced that they will no longer be developing anymore characters, skins, modes for the game anymore, and the last update will be in December.
The game is one of those types of games where it is easy to play but hard to master. Unlike Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, there are no crazy inputs you need to do in order to do a special move like a hadouken. You would only need to hold a certain direction and press either the special 1 or 2 button to pull it off which I personally like.

Offline mode? :
When the game first came out of beta there wasn't really much to do besides tutorials and combo trials as well as fighting your friends sitting next to you. After a few patches they have added a new offline mode called The Climb where you get to choose which path you want to take. Depending on the path you choose, you would either you have to fight some characters or go to a rest spot. After each fight you get to choose a perk to enhance your characters. I have personally only played this mode a handful of times.
Online mode:
Online mode is basically all this game is about to be honest. You can hop into a lobby and challenge anyone in there. There were a couple of hiccups here and there when running around the lobby. If you don't feel fighting, you can always watching someone else fight because in certain spots they have a tv screen which will automatically pop up and show the match going on. Before the announcement of the shut down, there was a ranked mode where you can fight people of equal or greater skill than you and climb the ladder.

Final Notes:
Out of over 170 champions in League of Legends they have managed to only bring in 18 of them to this game which is really unfortunate. I did not get to see some of my favorites characters join in but that doesn't mean I didn't have a lot of fun in the game. I would have loved to see this game blow up if they had just given it more time. With the latest update, they released two new characters and over 30 skins that they had planned to release in the future. I love this game so much and I will continue to keep playing it as long as they keep the servers up and running.
