EA shuts down BioWare, cancels new Mass Effect and pauses a new Sims game
Electronic Arts is closing BioWare, the studio behind Mass Effect and Dragon Age, and the new Mass Effect has been canceled. Bloomberg reportedly says about 50 BioWare staff and 350 others at EA are affected. EA also paused a new Sims game and teased a joint Respawn and DICE project, just after its sale to Saudi Arabia's PIF.
