EA reportedly closed BioWare to fund Star Wars Battlefront 3 over Mass Effect 5
A Bloomberg report by Jason Schreier says EA had to pick between two costly projects, the next Mass Effect and Star Wars: Battlefront 3, and chose Battlefront 3. The decision reportedly came down to money, with EA facing $18 billion in debt after its sale. EA shut down BioWare last week.
