Arc Raiders developer defends its use of AI-generated voices
The team behind ARC Raiders says it used AI text-to-speech so voice actors wouldn't have to read through an enormous amount of dialogue. One of the actors involved called the tech freeing, since it lets them take on work elsewhere. The use of AI in the game's voices has drawn attention from players.
